THE WEDDING OF C&L

C + L wanted their wedding weekend at Olema House to feel colorful, relaxed, and a little unexpected. They weren’t interested in a traditional ballroom setup or a tightly structured evening. They wanted their guests to settle in, grab a drink, sit somewhere comfortable, and actually spend time together. Olema House made that easy. With its garden views, cozy accommodations, and mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, it naturally lends itself to a more fluid kind of celebration.

We leaned into a bold fall palette of rust, orange, navy, teal, and golden yellow, a refreshing shift from the muted tones often associated with the season. Hand-painted tile motifs inspired the invitation suite, bar signage, and table numbers, adding an artistic throughline that carried from paper goods to reception details.

Instead of rows of tables, we created layered dining areas mixed with lounge seating so guests could gather in smaller pockets. As the evening light faded over Point Reyes, conversations lingered, games came out, and the celebration felt less like a formal reception and more like a beautifully hosted dinner party.
